We've had whole week with this precious babe! The kids stayed with Zach's parents for a few days so that we could have time to settle in with the baby. We always just stay one night in the hospital so I was anxious to get back to a quiet home - I always love those first few days with just one brand new baby to focus on, it's such a special time! But it broke my heart a little when the kids would come see us and Georgie would tell me how much she missed me and our baby. Her tears just about ripped a hole in my heart! I loved seeing how much she loves us and wanted to stay with us. So far, she's been a great big sister and loves her baby very much :) I snapped these precious pictures on Zoey's one week mark while the kids were at school. She's changing so much every day as the swelling goes down. She's looking a lot like Georgia except her hair seems even lighter - maybe a strawberry blonde?? We love her so much and can't wait to see her grow!
