If you didn't know, this is my brother and his wife - two of the best people I know. Chill, hilarious, always eat good food, traveling the world, doing fun stuff kind of people. I love them! We met up at the beach and took some quick pictures for them holiday cards and then went to dinner & ice cream. He's a hard working doctor in residency living in SD so we don't get to see them as much as we'd like. Love you guys - even your dog is cute ;)
On a side note.. I took like 1 million years to edit their session because I was days away from delivering my baby (and we all know how much I love pregnancy) but I also just couldn't figure out what mood I was going for. We had fun with this shoot and actually got in the waves just to see what images we could get and I loved how they turned out. I tried out something dark moody - something I never do - and ended up just going back to natural light and bright. It's just who I am! I prefer bright happy pictures, but moody can be fun, so I posted both :) The sky was overcast which made for a perfect purply pink sunset and I'm still dying over the color of the water that night, it was amazingggg! Can't get over how turquoise it was.
