This last Thanksgiving we went to La Verkin, Utah (the middle of nowhere) to be altogether in a big fun house with my extended family (The Blickenstaff side). It was so much fun!! And like always, I was drooling over the big open spaces and empty fields of honey colored brush... Southern California has beauty beyond compare with the coast and it's pretty beaches, but Utah... Utah's landscapes just give me life in a very different way! I'll always miss them. I knew I had to bring my camera and plan for pictures while everyone was here together and I couldn't wait. Just as I imagined, I found the perfect view and I am SO happy with how all these pictures of my siblings and their beautiful families turned out. Bathed in golden sunlight, happy, glowy, blue skies, everything I pictured and I love them so much. Special shout out to my awesome brother who knows a thing or two about cameras and snapped my pictures for me, love you Jake!! Somehow (as in, hired a local teenager to push the button on a tripod) we managed to get a couple pictures of the whole extended fam disinterested grandkids included. I sure love this family of mine, they are everything to me! And I'm so grateful to my cute parents who made our whole world and filled it with love.
